Family Medicine Physician Mitchell Bartley, D.O. joins Stormont Vail Health
Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that Mitchell Bartley, D.O., will join our team and practice as a family medicine physician, located at Cotton O’Neil Family Medicine, 901 S.W. Garfield Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.
Dr. Bartley decided to become a physician after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease. He was amazed by the high-quality care his physician provided and this motivated Dr. Bartley to begin taking the necessary pre-requisites to become a physician himself. Through his career he has tried to match the level of care he received in his own patients.
“Being able to provide care to my patients from the moment they are born through their life allows me to get to know my patients on a deeper level,” Dr. Bartley said. “The wide scope of services this specialty provides, ensures that every day is different and provides a new challenge.”
Dr. Bartley earned his medical degree in 2011 from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri, in 2014.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children and helping them with their sports. He is an avid sports fan, attending Kansas State University, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals games whenever possible.
