What inspires you?

Seeing others succeed. I take great joy when I can be a part of someone’s success and excitement. In every situation I attempt to make connections between people that benefit them and for the good of our community. When I step back to look at the network and connections made I am in awe of what they are accomplishing.

What advice do you have for others?

Everything has a time and a purpose. Throughout my life I have carefully weighed my involvements to ensure they match my values, passions and the commitment I have to my family and faith. One of the hardest things for people to do is say “no” to a worthy cause, but that no may be just what you need to say in that particular situation.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned on your journey?

Listen with an open heart and mind. When you put aside your desires and perceptions, you will be amazed at how well connections form and things come together.

What does your vision for our community look like?

I want our community to be one that thrives because we are informed, supportive and open to new possibilities.

What does "Equal - Powerful - Unstoppable" mean to you?

Everyone, no matter their circumstances, has the opportunity to succeed. With a little bit of help, a hand-up and an encouraging word, anyone can be unstoppable in achieving their fullest potential.
