Topeka Presbyterian Manor celebrated renovations with ribbon-cutting
Topeka Presbyterian Manor celebrated the opening of its new entrance, assisted living dining room, and renovated library with the help of the Greater Topeka Partnership this afternoon.
“It’s been a challenging year, full of all sorts of unforetold and unforeseen events,” said Sterling Emerson, Presbyterian Manor director of environmental services. “But this was such a joy being able to come in each day and see the progress [being made].”
The refurbished spaces are part of a $1.6 million renovation to the senior living community’s 17-acre campus. Harbin Construction, a multi-discipline general contracting firm, began work on the project in January of 2020.
Many staff and residents haven’t been able to see or use the space while under construction. “It’s been fun to see the staff and hear their chatter in an area that’s been quiet for almost a year.” said Heather Pilkinton, Presbyterian Manor executive director.
As part of their Grand Re-Opening, there are several special offers that provide a variety of choices for senior looking for Independent Living options in Topeka. These offers can save seniors upwards of $7,000 when choosing Topeka Presbyterian Manor as their home.
