Foundation Elects New Board Members
The Topeka Community Foundation has elected four new board members for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2021.
They are Noel Etzel, CEO and owner of Jetz Service Co., Inc.; Dr. Robert Kenagy, President and CEO of Stormont Vail Health; Jennifer Sourk, General Counsel at Midwest Health, Inc.; and Shane VanDalsem, Associate Professor of Finance at Washburn University.
Three members of the Board of Directors were elected for their second three-year term.
They are Dr. Tiffany Anderson, Superintendent of USD 501; Arnold Downing, Sr., Vice President – Leasing and Tenant Services at Topeka Housing Authority; and Curtis Sneden, Senior Vice President of Govt. Affairs, Greater Topeka Partnership / President of Topeka Chamber.
The officers of the Board of Directors include Pam Alexander, Chair; Tara Dimick, Vice Chair; Shelly Buhler, Secretary; Brad Owen, Treasurer; and Chris McGee, Immediate Past Chair.
Beginning its’ 37 th year, the Topeka Community Foundation manages $74 million in assets and more than 400 funds created by individuals, families, businesses, civic and nonprofit organizations.
The mission of the Topeka Community Foundation is to connect donors with their interests and community needs, increase charitable giving in the community, provide leadership on key community issues and ensure stewardship and accountability for effective community investment of donor dollars.
