Stormont Vail Events Center Unveils Happy Basset Craft Beer Garden in Landon Arena
The Stormont Vail Events Center unveils a new Happy Basset Craft Beer Garden inside Landon Arena. The new space is part of a partnership with local Topeka brewery, Happy Basset Brewing Co. and was constructed during the recently completed renovations to the arena.
The Happy Basset Craft Beer Garden is a prominent concession stand dedicated to offer local craft beer options to patrons attending events in Landon Arena.
Owner of Happy Basset Brewing Co. Eric Craver explains, "The partnership we have with Stormont Vail Events Center means a lot to us at Happy Basset Brewing Company. The Stormont Vail Events Center has been a staple in Topeka. I have attended many events over the years, and the events center is looking better than it ever has. I'm proud for our local brewery to have the opportunity to sell our very own brews in such an iconic venue that brings both Topekans and tourists to Shawnee County. This is just the beginning of the newly renovated center and we are beyond excited for this partnership."
The Happy Basset Craft Beer Garden is located on the newly renovated northeast concourse, and offers a selection of 6-8 craft brews from Happy Basset, including approximately four offerings from other local and regional breweries. There are multiple points of sale to ensure speedy service, including a mobile pick-up lane for those that purchase via the mobile ordering.
“We couldn't be more excited to finally unveil the new Happy Basset Craft Beer Garden in Landon Arena at the Stormont Vail Events Center,” said Allison Geist, District Marketing Director for Spectra at Stormont Vail Events Center. “This space now allows patrons an opportunity to enjoy local Topeka beers, and provides the opportunity for this great local brewery to serve their excellent craft beers to the nearly half million people that come to the events center annually.”
Wing Fling, the annual Chicken Wing Restaurant Competition and Festival, features the custom brew, Blonde Pomshell, developed by Happy Basset Brewing Co. exclusively for Wing Fling.
