Adult Endocrinologist Kaitlin Ditch, M.D., joins Stormont Vail Health

Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that Kaitlin Ditch, M.D., has joined the team to practice as an adult endocrinologist, located at 3520 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.

Dr. Ditch is excited for her career to be in Kansas, her home roots. While growing up in Hutchinson, Dr. Ditch always knew she wanted to become a doctor. As an endocrinologist, Dr. Ditch will be working with patients who have diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and pituitary disorders.

“I want to help people, and help them get back to the life they want to live,” said Dr. Ditch. “For me, seeing the patient succeed and accomplish goals and get back to a more normal life, being able to do the things that they love to do, that’s what would be a success for me.”

Dr. Ditch believes using open communication is the key to reaching that success. She said having a good relationship between the patient and provider is what makes an experience at the doctor a healthy one, which is what she will provide her patients.

“I think the most rewarding part of medicine is the day-to-day interactions and then seeing patients get better,” Dr. Ditch said.

When Dr. Ditch is not in the office, you can find her playing tennis, spending time with family or cooking. Dr. Ditch received her Bachelor of Science degree at Washburn University. She then earned her medical degree at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in Wichita where she also completed her residency. She then finished her Fellowship at the University of Utah.
