What is your spirit animal?
A butterfly, even though they are not technically an animal. Butterflies are ever changing and moving, constantly finding new places, things and ideas.
What do you wish someone had told you?
Everything doesn’t happen at once. I love trying to push myself and do everything I can. Sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that I am young and that there is still a lot of time to do the things I want to do. More often than not, however, the reminder does little to stop me.
What leader do you admire the most?
Ruth Bader Ginsburg is admirable for so many reasons. The leadership she showed was immeasurable, and the boundaries she crossed and glass ceilings she broke for women are undeniable.
What’s one thing you wish you were good at?
Playing the guitar. I think being able to play guitar takes patience and dedication that I lack. Also being able to bust out an Arctic Monkeys song at any moment is my dream.
If they made a movie of your life, who would play you?
Michelle Rodriguez because she is a bada$$ and would make me look like a crazy good driver. She knows what she wants and goes for it full force.
What brings you joy?
Seeing change. I think our world has a lot of change and love to give. Seeing people together fighting for change and justice pulls at my heartstrings.
