Matt Pivarnik Named to Ingram's '50 Kansans You Should Know'

In its March 2021 publication, Ingram’s Magazine named Greater Topeka Partnership CEO Matt Pivarnik among its list of “50 Kansans You Should Know.” The Kansas City, Missouri-based business publication’s annual list aims to spotlight the Sunflower State’s highly accomplished and colorful residents that make significant contributions to their state, communities and/or businesses.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by such a reputable publication as Ingram’s,” said Pivarnik. “These accomplishments were made on behalf of the community I serve, and I hope that is reflected in this merit.”

January 2021 marked Pivarnik’s fifth year as CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership, the region’s leading economic development organization. He is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native and previously served as the executive vice president and COO for the Tulsa’s Future Economic Development Organization, Tulsa Regional Chamber, Visit Tulsa, Tulsa’s Young Professionals, Tulsa Sports Commission, Tulsa Film and Music Commission and the Tulsa Small Business Connection. 

Pivarnik earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. He is a past Chairman of the US Chamber Institute for Organization Management’s National Board of Trustees, is past Chairman of the Board of Regents for the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management at the University of Arizona, is a graduate of the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management, has completed the program at the Center for Creative Leadership, is a Certified Chamber Executive, a Commissioner for the Certified Chamber Executive Program, and has served on the American Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
