COVID-19: The Virus and the Vaccines
On Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM, The Topeka (KS) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and KTWU are co-hosting our area experts—doctors and health care providers—who will talk about COVID-19 and the vaccines, the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, and the ways for people of color to move beyond this pandemic and stay safe. A national COVID tracking source states, “We’ve lost at least 73,462 Black lives to COVID-19 to date. Black people account for 15% of COVID-19 deaths where race is known.” “Nationwide, Black people have died at 1.4 times the rate of white people.” https://covidtracking.com/race
