New NOTO Sculpture
The sculpture Tunnel Vision has been installed in Redbud Park as part of the NOTO Rotating Sculpture Program. "The piece is a metal sculpture influenced by the effects of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) on my loved ones and societal pressure on them" shared artist Nick Hurst. According to the artist statement, his work serves to "inspire, spark imagination, find happiness, and bring awareness to a subject."
Sponsored by the Union Pacific Railroad, the piece will be will be at Redbud Park for two years as part of the NOTO Rotating Sculpture Program. "Currently we have four rotating sculpture locations with another to be added soon," said Staci Ogle, NOTO Program and Communications Coordinator. "We hope to have even more locations throughout the District in the coming years."
