TopSports.News to host the 16th Annual Topeka-Shawnee County Sports Awards/ Hall of Fame Ceremony
On June 30, 2021, TopSports.News will become the new host of the 16th Annual Topeka-Shawnee County Sports Awards/ Hall of Fame Ceremony, continuing a tradition for the Topeka and Shawnee County sports community.
TopSports.News is proud to preserve and continue this annual event to recognize our area senior student athletes as they conclude their high school careers. Our ten Shawnee County area high schools will be asked to nominate one female and male candidate with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average as the out- standing student athlete for each of the following categories.

Most Outstanding Athlete
New this year, Most Outstanding Female and Male Student Athlete from Washburn University will be recognized.
TopSports.News has assembled former Topeka Shawnee County Sports Council members, local school officials, and media personalities as an advisory council to review and select the category awards winners. This council will also select the 15th group of inductees for the Topeka Shawnee County Hall of Fame. The Class of 2021 Hall of Fame inductees will be announced soon.
