Summerfest at the The Historic Vinewood will take place July 24, 2021
Summerfest at The Historic Vinewood 2021 is a family-friendly auto show and outdoor concert that takes place on Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 4pm. The evening is jam-packed with activities for all members of the family including an auto show, kids zone, bands, food trucks (Poppin’ Squeeze, Lago Vista & Mexi-Q) and more. The Media is Invited to Attend. Pre-event interviews welcomed!
AUTO SHOW
The auto show will feature 75 cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. Guest judges will present Best of Show, Best Car, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle and Honor Guard Favorite. Monies raised by the auto show will be donated to the Topeka Police Department Honor Guard to help finance a trip to the Washington, DC ceremony to honor fallen officers killed in the line of duty.
MUSIC / KIDS ZONE & MORE
Two Topeka favorites will perform on The Vinewood’s outdoor stage providing entertainment for the whole family. Kicking off the evening is Heart Strings followed by the TPD Pipes & Drum Corp. Headlining the event is No Good Johnny who will play danceable country and rock to end the evening. Kids Zone activities include Sadie the Donkey, sidewalk chalk, arts & crafts and more.
The event is open to the public and tickets are $15 per person; FREE for guests aged 13 years and under. It is our goal to stress “family” in this (and every) event at The Vinewood. In order to make such an event happen, allow it to be free for the youngest family members and raise money for Honor Guard, community businesses chipped in to sponsor the event. Those include:

ABOUT THE HISTORIC VINEWOOD
The Historic Vinewood has been the backdrop for community events, dances, concerts and more for over 130 years. It is home to one of the oldest dance halls in the area, featuring a wooden spring-loaded dance floor; located on 5.1 beautiful acres right across from Lake Shawnee. Since 1889, The Vinewood has been the foundation to a multitude of cherished memories. Today, we are the backdrop for weddings and class reunions, corporate parties and continuing education events.
