Plug and Play Topeka Announces Startups for their 2nd Batch

The Greater Topeka Partnership is pleased to share that Plug and Play Topeka has announced 10 startups that were selected for the second batch of their new Animal Health Program. This program aims to facilitate opportunities for pilots, POCs, and new relationships between the selected batch startups and Plug and Play's global ecosystem. Founding partners of the program include Cargill, Evergy, and Hills Pet Nutrition.

"Each batch is based off our partners’ needs, so we are able to include incredible startups from around the world that provide solutions to our partners’ needs,” said Lindsay Lebahn, program manager, Plug and Play Topeka. “That process allows us to include focus areas like B2B Sales, Sustainable Packaging, Mobility to our Animal Health Vertical and grants those startups exposure and the possibility to break into a new industry."

“It’s exciting to see what this next Plug and Play Topeka startup batch will bring to Topeka & Shawnee County and how it will impact our innovation ecosystem,” said Katrin Bridges, SVP of innovation, Greater Topeka Partnership. “The accelerator will welcome a diverse set of startups from Singapore to San Francisco, working on everything from a natural antimicrobial product line derived from nanotechnology to veterinary telemedicine platforms.
