Mighty Beast Coffee Roaster Now Open for Coffee, Espresso, and Fresh-Roasted Beans

Mighty Beast Coffee Roaster Now Open for Coffee, Espresso, and Fresh-Roasted Beans

Today was opening day for Mighty Beast Coffee Roasters, a new small-batch specialty roaster located at 401 South Palmberg Street in Meriden, inside Boone & Bounty.

The shop will bring world-class coffee to the community and fill a gap left by the closure of Pharmhouse Coffee. Former Pharmhouse manager Dany Guzman is teaming up with head roaster Adam Ross, previously of Caffiend Coffee Company. Together with wholesale specialist Tosha Ross, the team will serve gourmet coffee and espresso drinks and sell fresh-roasted, ethically sourced beans for individual and wholesale clients.

“The Mighty Beast experience is a unique way to enjoy the art of coffee. From in-house roasting, which has never been offered before in our area, to our highly trained baristas, we’re serving coffee for people who love coffee,” head barista Dany Guzman said.

“We’re proud to bring the joy of coffee to Meriden in a world-class way. From growing, to roasting, to brewing, coffee is joy and heart work for our community,” said Adam Ross, Head Roaster “We’re overwhelmed by the amount of support we are receiving.”

The menu includes espresso and coffee drinks with beans freshly roasted in store.

Mighty Beast’s signature drink is the Beast a la Mode. Ice cream drowned in espresso. It’s a double shot of espresso and a single scoop of ice cream from Boone & Bounty’s Scoop Troop, which is staffed by Woolly Farms members. 100% of ice cream proceeds from Scoop Troop support Woolly Farms Foundation.
