Clayton Wealth Partners Set to Welcome Intern Emma Gustin
Clayton Wealth Partners announced today that Emma Gustin of Carbondale has joined the wealth management firm as part of its summer internship program.
Gustin is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in personal financial planning at Kansas State University, with a minor in leadership studies. The 4.0-GPA student expects to graduate in May 2024.
“We are thrilled to welcome Emma, who has excelled academically and has an outstanding future ahead of her,” said Elizabeth Young, Senior Wealth Advisor and Partner. “Emma will have the opportunity to both shadow and assist our wealth advisory team while gaining hands-on experience for her future career as a financial advisor.”
Gustin will start at the Topeka office of Clayton Wealth Partners on May 16. Her responsibilities will include assisting wealth advisors and paraplanners with meeting preparation and attendance, data entry, new-client onboarding, research, analysis, and recommendations.
Gustin also will help prepare the firm’s quarterly presentations to clients and assist with preparing financial planning articles for the Clayton Wealth Partners quarterly newsletter.
“I was so excited when I got the news that Clayton Wealth Partners hired me as an intern,” Gustin said. “It’s important to me to work for a company that values fiduciary client relationships. I look forward to the experience and supplementing my understanding of the coursework I’ve completed.”
Gustin is a member of the Financial Planning Association’s K-State Student Chapter. She is also a National Society of Leadership and Success member, Alpha Delta Pi officer, and K-State Staley School of Leadership Studies ambassador.
