Herman Receives President’s Award for Excellence

Mark Herman, Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management at Envista Credit Union, received the President’s Award for Excellence. The annual award recognizes the Envista employee that embodies the character, spirit and values of Envista. Herman continually demonstrates leadership, integrity, and a strong desire to exceed expectations.

“Mark has shown leadership and professionalism as he has guided us on multiple projects that were significant in Envista’s growth in 2021, projects that will be key to our growth in the future,” said Ron Smeltzer, President and CEO of Envista. “Mark leads by example, supporting others and is always the first to step in and do the right thing, whether it is greeting a member, planning for the future, overseeing the construction of a building or the renovations of a new location.”

Fatima Perez-Luthi Receives Community Involvement Award

Fatima Perez-Luthi, Mortgage Advisor for Envista Credit Union, has received the Ken Norton Community Involvement Award for her outstanding dedication and commitment to volunteerism in the Topeka community.

Fatima is the current chair of the Forge Young Professional board, she serves on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion oversight committee and on the SORTE committee for the East Topeka North Neighborhood Plan. She also partakes in volunteer opportunities through Junior Achievement, Christmas Bureau Intake and Topeka Latino Professionals Association.

“Fatima is passionate about our community. We are proud to have her on our team and support her work and commitment,” said Tara Dimick, Chief Business Development Officer for Envista.

Envista has a long and proud tradition of volunteer service and encourages staff to be actively involved in the community. The Ken Norton Community Involvement Award was established in 2015 in honor of long-time board member Ken Norton who served on the Envista Board of Directors for more than 40 years.
