EnvistaCares Challenge highlights Sunrise Project
Envista Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will highlight Sunrise Project, through the EnvistaCares Challenge during the month of April. The EnvistaCares Challenge includes a $2,500 challenge grant, an in-kind gift of marketing, promotions and a media buy that is valued at more than $12,000, and a promotional video of their organization.
Through the challenge grant, Envista will match every dollar given to the Sunrise Project during the month of April up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com. The media package provided by Envista to Sunrise Project includes a month of promotion through billboards, emails, social media and radio. Finally, Envista supports the production of a video for Sunrise Project to use to share their message and encourage members of the community to not only give, but to join in and consider becoming a partner.
“Sunrise Project provides the space for people of all ages and backgrounds to find community, care for each other and grow. We do it together,” said Melissa Freiburger, executive director of Sunrise Project.
Sunrise Project serves Douglas County by providing space and opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to build an equitable community through education, good food, and social connection through their food pantry, community meals, gardens and orchard.
“Envista’s core values are integrity, unity, empower, exceed and impact. The Sunrise Project shares our values as they work to empower people in unity and community to make an impact in their own lives and the lives of those around them,” said Tara Dimick, chief business development officer for Envista. “Through the EnvistaCares Challenge we have the opportunity to come alongside the Sunrise Project as they lead, inspire and impact the Lawrence community.”
