Same Excellence in Construction, New Organizational structure
For the last year, KBS Constructors has been strategizing, planning, and executing a reorganization that will promote growth and excellence in all areas of their company.
KBS began in 1989 under the leadership and direction of our founder Dan Foltz who desired to bring excellence and quality to the construction industry. Over the last 32 years, KBS Constructors has loyally served its clients and communities, quickly becoming a trusted partner. As a part of his succession plan, Dan has stepped from the President position into CEO and Board Chairman.
When asked to comment on the past and future success of KBS, Dan replied, "Thirty-two years ago, we began KBS with a passionate focus on finding the best people. Then provide everyone in the company extensive training on an ongoing basis to remain an industry leader. We have found success by focusing on the principles of Total Quality Management and the values inherent in operating as an Open Book Management company. I am thankful for our next generation of leaders with years of KBS experience as they continue to grow our organization in service to our clients and employees. I know that as a team, they will live and lead our KBS values of Integrity, Caring, and Excellence.”
Along with this change, Matt Charvat has now taken the role of President. Matt started for KBS in 1999 upon graduation from Kansas State University. Serving in several different roles over the last 23 years, Matt’s proven leadership and knowledge of the construction industry, makes him the right fit for this responsibility.
"I am excited about the future of KBS. and our ongoing commitment to providing excellent services and solutions to our growing client base.", Matt said. "I look forward to spending time with every team member, in the office and on job sites. I will be getting more involved in the communities where we work and live, and I look forward to meeting many new people."
As another part of the restructuring, KBS has named Sam Stallbaumer as the Chief Operations Officer overseeing the construction side of the company. Maximizing more of their expert leadership, seven divisions have been formed that envelope all KBS offices and fortifying their operations.
Responding to these changes, Matt Charvat, President of KBS, said, "One of the many benefits of our new organizational structure is, it creates more collaboration between offices and plays to our individual strengths instead of office location."
