Topeka Zoo Announces, “Boo at the Zoo” Dates
The Topeka Zoo is proud to announce the dates for their annual event called, “Boo at the Zoo.”
The dates for this event are October 21st and 28th at the zoo. Boo at the Zoo is a fun and safe Halloween trick-or-treating event for kids of all ages. Parents, caregivers, and children are encouraged to walk around the zoo in Halloween costumes, trick or treat with vendors, and check out special enrichment activities with the animals.
“Every year, Boo at the Zoo brings a huge smile to our face because the community really turns out for it, and we love seeing how the kids, and even the vendors, dress up to celebrate Halloween,” said Shanna Simpson, Animal Curator.
On both dates, Boo at the Zoo runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with the zoo maintaining normal hours. The event is free with the cost of admission to the zoo. Members can skip the line by receiving express entry into the zoo during the event. Express entry is on the south side of the zoo near the Giraffe and Friends Exhibit.
The public is encouraged to learn more about Boo at the Zoo when they visit the Topeka Zoo’s website for this special event. https://topekazoo.org/booatthezoo/
