Five contractors recognized for workplace safety
Five contractors have been recognized for workplace safety during the calendar year of 2022 in their respective employer categories. The awards were presented January 27 by the Kansas Contractors Association in recognition of each company’s achievements in establishing a safe workplace and safe jobsites for their employees.
BRB Contractors of Topeka won Category I, which is comprised of companies that have total employee hours of exposure between 3,000 and 50,000 hours.
Klaver Construction of Wichita won Category II, which is comprised of companies that have total employee hours of exposure between 50,000 and 100,000 hours.
Clarkson Construction of Kansas City won Category III, which is comprised of companies that have total employee hours of exposure between 100,000 and 200,000 hours.
Bettis Asphalt & Construction of Topeka won Category IV, which is comprised of companies that have total employee hours of exposure between 200,000 and 400,000 hours.
APAC Kansas-Shears Division of Hutchinson won Category V, which is comprised of companies that have total employee hours of exposure of more than 400,000 hours.
