Stormont Vail Health Media Release: Global Wave of Light vigil on Tuesday, 10/15
As October honors Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness, Stormont Vail Health encourages team and community members to support those who have gone through this unimaginable loss. On Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, Stormont Vail will host the Global Wave of Light vigil from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Stormont Vail Hospital courtyard, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave.
This event, organized by the Stormont Vail Mother and Baby Department, brings people together to honor the lives that, though brief, left a lasting impact on our hearts. As participants exchange stories and support, they will hold battery-operated tea lights to create a wave of light across the globe. Whether or not individuals have experienced this loss, Stormont Vail welcomes visitors to join and learn how to offer caring and understanding support to grieving families.
The Mother and Baby team hopes to see community members as they come together to illuminate the darkness and honor each little star that graced our lives for far too briefly.
