Clayton Wealth Partners Awards Impact Scholarship to Aspiring Financial Planner
Clayton Wealth Partners is proud to announce Elijah Wilson, a senior at Kansas State University, as the inaugural recipient of the Clayton Wealth Partners Impact Scholarship.
This scholarship, established in celebration of the firm’s 40th anniversary, reflects the firm’s dedication to fostering the next generation of financial planners who will lead the profession into the future.
Elijah is majoring in Personal Financial Planning and pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. The CFP® certification is one of the most highly regarded designations in the financial services industry for its emphasis on education, experience, and ethics. In fact, CWP regards the certification so highly that it requires its wealth advisors to have it.
The $4,000 scholarship reimburses Elijah for the costs of CFP® exam registration and study materials, supporting his journey toward achieving the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
Barbara Duncan, CFP®, Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Clayton Wealth Partners, shared: “As we were marking 40 years of serving our clients and community, we were also inspired to invest in the future of financial planning. By supporting students like Elijah, we’re paving the way for the next generation of professionals who will carry forward the values of service and excellence.”
Elizabeth Young, CFP®, also a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor, echoed Duncan’s sentiment. “This scholarship is a step toward empowering talented individuals to continue the vital work of helping others achieve financial well-being,” she said. “As we reflect on our legacy, we’re also excited about the impact we can make in the decades to come.”
The award was presented during Clayton Wealth Partners’ 40th anniversary celebration, which honored the firm’s history while highlighting its commitment to the future.
