Intelligent Banking Solutions Appoints 30 Year Industry Vet Hugh Khan as CTO
Intelligent Banking Solutions Inc. (“IBS”), the market leader in debt collection and asset recovery management software for financial institutions, is proud to announce the appointment of Hugh Khan as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Khan has held the title of CTO at Suntell, a sister company within the growth-oriented SaaS investor Arcadea Group, since 2022, and will continue in that capacity.
Khan, whose career-defining achievements include the development of innovative software, holds a number of patents for technology he has created. He brings together high-performing software development teams and business strategy creation frameworks to cultivate cutting-edge technology solutions and tools.
Khan has been either a founding member or a key contributor for several technology startups, including his own venture, Highploom. His expertise spans the sectors of fintech, mobile computing, business process automation, e-commerce and AI. Khan holds bachelor's degrees in computer science and mechanical engineering from the University of Kansas.
Before he launched Highploom, Khan held the roles of chief operating officer at CubeMonk, engineering director at Zcash and senior vice president at Lockton. Khan took over the position of CTO at Suntell in 2022.
“I love being part of a team, and having a good team around you is everything. I have discovered that if I’m good at anything, it’s deeply understanding people and building meaningful relationships. I look forward to working with the incredible team at IBS. They make it possible to take on challenges with ease,” said Khan. “The next few years will be a transformational time for new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), which will result in a paradigm shift. By using agile methodology to develop and enhance IBS software, we can help the community banking industry navigate the coming change — and remain robust in their offerings.”
IBS helps collections officers stay competitive by supplying them with their fully customizable CARM-Pro™ collections and asset recovery software. Khan’s extensive experience in the software space has empowered him to focus on new technology strategies that will allow smaller financial institutions to not only thrive, but also do more with less.
"We are elated for Khan to join the IBS team. He is highly qualified for the position, and he’s ready to embrace our culture of caring for the community banking industry. Small banks face certain systemic challenges, and with Hugh on our side, we can continue enhancing our software to help them face their evolving needs,” said Ronnie Wooten, CEO of IBS and Suntell. “While Suntell provides services on the front end, IBS will bring and reclaim assets on the back end. Thanks to Hugh, we can also continue to provide the full stack on the application end.”
