Prevention and Resiliency Services of Topeka Announces the Date for National Night Out as August 6th, 2024
The countdown to National Night Out has begun, and Prevention and Resiliency Services (PARS) is gearing up for an unforgettable community-wide event.
This year, PARS is proud to announce their hosting of a spectacular event at West Ridge Mall on National Night Out, set for August 6th, running from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.The event promises to be a celebration of community spirit, featuring engagement opportunities with law enforcement partners and various community organizations.
Highlighting inclusivity, the event welcomes individuals from all neighborhoods and age groups, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness. With an estimated attendance of 2200 people, attendees can enjoy snacks and opportunities to win exciting prizes throughout the evening.
To combat the August heat, the venue will be temperature controlled, ensuring the comfort of all participants. While PARS is organizing the main event, neighborhoods still have the option to host their own gatherings. To further support these initiatives, PARS will offer scholarships through an application process to provide financial assistance.
National Night Out is a national, community-building event held each August to promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie and to build safer, more caring communities.
