As summer approaches, Prevention and Resiliency Services (PARS) is gearing up to equip the community with essential knowledge and tools to ensure a safe and enjoyable season. PARS is proud to announce the upcoming event titled “Setting Up For A Safe and Sound Summer,” part of its Safe Streets Quarterly Event series, scheduled for May 2nd.

With a focus on promoting safety and resilience, the event will feature expert insights from distinguished speakers, including Meteorologist Doug Meyers from WIBW, Sergeant Mike Burns from the Topeka Police Department, and Public Education Officer Ryan Neill from the Topeka Fire Department.

“Setting Up For A Safe and Sound Summer” will serve as a comprehensive resource for individuals and families seeking to enhance their safety preparedness ahead of the summer months. Attendees can expect to gain valuable knowledge on a wide range of topics, including weather safety tips, crime prevention strategies, and fire safety protocols.
