Topeka community poised to raise $700,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Tickets are on sale now for the 7th Annual Topeka St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway with KSNT 27 News. Only 7,000 tickets are available to raise $700,000 dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and over 1,000 are already sold. The house is being built by Drippé Homes in the Sherwood Park community in South Topeka and tickets to win the approximately 2,200 square foot house are available now.

This is the 5th house that Drippé Homes will build for St. Jude as a part of the Topeka campaign. “When I reflect on the multiple homes our company has built for [the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway] and the amazing support from our community, I am humbled to know we are helping such a great cause,” said Mike Drippé, President & Owner of Drippé Homes. “The mission of St. Jude is one that resonates with all of us. They have moved the needle when it comes to understanding, treating and defeating childhood cancer. They also take care of families at no cost.”  

For $100, you have a chance to win this brand-new home and other great prizes. All tickets reserved by midnight on April 25, 2024, are entered to win a $10,000 shopping spree at Carpet One Floor and Home. “I believe being involved with [St. Jude] is one of the best and most important things I’ve done,” said Dale Smith, Division Manager of Carpet One/Topeka and Wichita.  

Winners will be announced this summer on KSNT 27 news. They are expected to sell out early! The house will be available for free tours beginning in July.  

Thanks to generous community support through programs like the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, St. Jude can focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation. Although only one ticket holder will win the house, those who reserve a $100 ticket are eligible to win additional prizes.  

The St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway is one of the largest fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The program launched in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1991 and has raised more than $630 million dollars through hundreds of giveaways across the country.
