Topeka ER & Hospital Announces Fourth Anniversary Community Event at Topeka Zoo
Topeka ER & Hospital will celebrate its fourth anniversary of providing prompt and compassionate emergency care with a family-friendly community event Saturday, July 20, at the Topeka Zoo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
As a thank you for all the support, Topeka ER & Hospital is providing the first 500 guests free admission into the zoo. Also, in partnership with 94.5 Country Radio, two pairs of tickets to the Jelly Roll & Warren Zeiders Concert will be given away as part of the radio’s Summer Concert Roadtrip during the live onsite broadcast. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase treats from Pineapple Dream, Kona Ice, and Sunflower’s Café & Grill.
“We are incredibly pleased to serve Topeka and the surrounding communities. We’ve expanded access for over 22,000 patients in need of prompt emergency care. We have seen growth in our inpatient care as well as the number of people choosing our outpatient advanced imaging and laboratory services,” said Jared Schreiner, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Topeka ER & Hospital.
Chief Nursing Officer, Dianna Cox, RN, says, “We have many community partners that we are happy to provide access to ER and diagnostic services like MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and lab tests with little to no wait time. We are delighted to hear our patients’ satisfaction with ease of care.”
“This event is to celebrate another year of success, and to celebrate our patients and their families who have entrusted us with their emergency care year after year,” says Karly Rogers, Director of Operations for Topeka ER & Hospital.
Topeka ER & Hospital looks forward to hosting the community at the Topeka Zoo.
