Topeka Zoo to Celebrate Giving Day on July 24th

The Topeka Zoo will host the public on July 24th for their 2024 giving day campaign called, “Love Your Zoo” during normal business hours.

This giving-day campaign is an effort to raise $25,000 in 24 hours and will also thank donors. Donations can be made online starting July 1 st , or in person and online at the Topeka Zoo on July 24th. Individuals supporting the day of giving will be celebrated through several incentives. Those incentives are:

Everyone who donates will be entered to win an exclusive Hippo feeding for a party of 6.

Donors who give AT the Zoo will receive a “Love Your Topeka Zoo” rubber bracelet.

Donors giving $100 - $249 will receive a Love Your Topeka Zoo tote bag.

Donors giving $250 - $499 will be entered into a drawing for one of three behind the scenes Pronghorn experience for a party of 6.

Donor giving $500 or more will be entered into a drawing for one of two behind the scenes/breakfast opportunities in our Giraffe and Friends exhibit for a party of 6.

“For over 90 years, the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center has been a community icon while teaching the community to be good stewards of our planet and to protect wildlife,” said Cynthia McCarvel, Director of Development. “We were blown away by the generosity of the community last year and look forward to trying to raise $25,000 again this year!”
