American Medical Response Celebrates 40 Years of Service in Shawnee County
To celebrate 40 years of dedicated service to Shawnee County, American Medical Response (AMR) Topeka is hosting an open house event at their operation headquarters. The event will include family activities, safety-related demonstrations and food trucks. The public and media are invited to attend.
In the 40 years of service to Shawnee County, AMR has implemented many programs that boost community safety and well-being. Through the launch of Nurse Navigation and Mobile Health programs, AMR has streamlined the process of connecting residents and visitors of Shawnee County to the appropriate level of care. AMR, in collaboration with Life Star of Kansas, has implemented an early activation process for high acuity emergencies in Rural Areas.
