Forge Young Talent Announces New ‘forge On Boards’ Initiative, With Goal Of Seeing More Young Professionals Involved In Local Board Governance
Topeka’s premier young professionals group Forge Young Talent is proud to announce the launch of “Forge on Boards,” an exciting new initiative aimed at facilitating connections between young professionals and businesses to encourage impactful board service. Recognizing the transformative potential of board roles, Forge on Boards seeks to bridge the gap between eager young professionals looking to serve, and organizations seeking fresh perspectives.
“We believe young professionals have the energy, creativity, and drive to bring about significant positive change for organizations across our community,” said Rhett Flood, executive director of Forge Young Talent. “Forge on Boards is our way of empowering YPs to step into board leadership roles, connecting them with area businesses looking to harness the valuable insight they offer.”
Forge on Boards is designed to take stock of young professionals who are eager to contribute to a board and connect them with businesses and nonprofit organizations looking to benefit from their dynamic input. By fostering such connections, Forge on Boards aims to cultivate leadership skills among its YP members and drive positive change across various sectors in the Topeka area.
“Engaging young professionals in board service not only brings fresh perspectives to the table but also helps shape the future of our community,” said Matt Pivarnik, CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership. “We are excited to support Forge on Boards and look forward to the positive impact it will have for the area’s young talent and local businesses.”
