Stormont Vail Health’s Welcome Baby Jubilee Helps Parents Prepare for Baby’s Arrival

Stormont Vail Health invites expectant mothers and their support people to its Welcome Baby Jubilee on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. This free event will take place in Pozez Education Center on the first floor of Stormont Vail Hospital, 1500 S.W. 10th Ave., Topeka.

Welcome Baby Jubilee is the perfect chance to welcome new life and the season of change as fall approaches. It's a chance for new and expecting moms or women considering pregnancy to ask questions, learn more about our community's resources and support, get to know our team and the Birthplace, and enter prize drawings for diapers, clothes, blankets, and other essentials. Additionally, it strengthens community connections by giving guests a chance to meet families from around our community.

Dads, grandparents, partners, and family who will spend time with the baby will also have the opportunity to get their Tdap vaccine. This booster ensures the well-being of infants and everyone around them by preventing whooping cough and other infectious diseases. We encourage those who wish to receive a shot to bring their insurance card to receive this vaccine.

Guests may use the parking garage to the west of the hospital and enter the hospital to complete check-in through the Main Entrance (North Tower). We look forward to meeting you and celebrating the arrival of new life in our community!

Media partners who would like to attend are asked to RSVP to anifry@stormontvail.org.
