Prevention and Resiliency Services Announces the Resignation of Executive Director
Prevention and Resiliency Services (PARS) announces the resignation of Mandy Czechanski, who has served for the last four and a half years as the Executive Director. Mandy has been an integral part of our prevention efforts, contributing her time, energy, and passion to support youth, families, and the community in reducing substance use and promoting positive choices.
“Mandy has played a vital role in guiding PARS through seasons of growth and establishing new collaborations throughout Shawnee County,” said Tracey Stratton PARS Board President. “Her leadership, passion, and commitment to youth substance use prevention have left a lasting mark on our organization and the community we serve. We wish her continued success in her future endeavors.”
With Mandy's departure, the Board of Directors is now seeking a qualified and dynamic leader to serve as the next Executive Director of PARS. The Executive Director provides overall administration and management of PARS programs, finances, and staff. This individual will oversee daily operations, lead prevention initiatives, and work collaboratively with community partners, state agencies, and coalitions to advance the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all programs, grants, and organizational operations.
Develop and manage annual budgets and funding sources, including grant writing and resource development.
Supervise staff and maintain a positive, mission-driven work culture.
Lead strategic planning, marketing, and public relations for the agency.
Support the Board of Directors in policy development and organizational growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field (Master’s preferred).
At least three years of nonprofit or agency leadership experience.
Proven success in grant writing, fundraising, and financial management.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience building partnerships with diverse community organizations.
