Miracle on Kansas Avenue Parade Announces 2025 Parade Royalty
The Greater Topeka Partnership and Downtown Topeka Inc. are thrilled to introduce the distinguished individuals who will serve as parade royalty for the 30th Annual Miracle on Kansas Avenue Parade, presented by Giant Communications. This year’s honorees represent the spirit, history, and future of our community.
Parade Royalty for 2025:
Grand Marshal: Mayor Michael Padilla – Leading the parade as Grand Marshal, Mayor Padilla embodies the pride and progress of Topeka.
Honorary Grand Marshal: Betty Lou Pardue – A former WIBW personality and founder of the Miracle on Kansas Avenue Parade, Betty Lou’s vision helped create this cherished tradition.
Junior Grand Marshal: Jhessdiel Santiago Almodovar – A student at Highland Park High School, Jhessdiel represents the bright future of Topeka’s youth.
Cheer Meister: Jaydn Brown – From Ross Elementary School, Jaydn will help spread holiday cheer throughout the parade route.
“These individuals reflect the heart of our community,” said John Koop, Vice President of Member Engagement and Events at the Greater Topeka Partnership. “From leaders and trailblazers to inspiring young people, they remind us why this event is so special.”
The Miracle on Kansas Avenue Parade will take place Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Downtown Topeka, featuring dazzling floats, marching bands, and Santa Claus himself. This year’s celebration includes a Christmas Village at Evergy Plaza starting at 4:00 p.m., a tree lighting ceremony, and a fireworks finale following the parade.
