Envista Federal Credit Union Partners with Family Service & Guidance Center to Support Local families
Envista Federal Credit Union celebrated the return of one of its most meaningful traditions this holiday season—Party with a Purpose, an EnvistaCares initiative dedicated to supporting Kansas families in need.
This year, Team Envista adopted 10 families and 50 individuals through the Family Service & Guidance Center’s Santa’s Little Helpers, raising $3,120 to ensure each person received thoughtful, personalized gifts.
“Party with a Purpose is a reflection of who we are as a team,” said Valerie Williams, VP of Marketing at Envista Federal Credit Union. “Partnering with Family Service and Guidance Center and watching our employees come together to give, shop, wrap, and celebrate was a powerful reminder of the compassion that drives not only Envista’s mission, but the mission of our valued nonprofit partners, to serve our community.”
A Night of Community, Connection, and Giving
Envista collected donations from staff for two weeks, beginning November 3, with every dollar going directly toward gifts for the adopted families. On November 21, staff gathered at the Envista Mortgage Event Center before heading out in small groups to shop for each family’s wish list—often crossing paths in the aisles and sharing in the joy of giving.
After shopping, the team returned to the event center for an evening of food, connection, and wrapping gifts for delivery. The event highlighted the collective generosity and enthusiasm that define Team Envista. All gifts were delivered to Family Service & Guidance Center on Tuesday morning, December 2, ensuring timely distribution to the families ahead of the holiday season.
An Extension of EnvistaCares
Party with a Purpose is part of EnvistaCares, the credit union’s ongoing commitment to supporting local nonprofits and investing in the well-being of the communities it serves. Envista’s partnership with the Family Service & Guidance Center ensured that local families facing mental health challenges experienced extra support and joy during the holiday season.
Strengthening the Spirit of Giving
“This event demonstrated the incredible impact we can make when we come together with kindness and purpose,” Williams said. “The families we supported will hopefully have an uplifting holiday, and our team left feeling more connected to one another and to our mission.”
