Silver Lake Bank today announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Rich Bartlett of Overland Park and John J. Geiger, Market President for the bank’s Overland Park / Greater Kansas City operations. This expansion reflects the bank’s commitment to strong leadership, forward‑looking strategy, and long‑term community investment.

About Rich Bartlett

Bartlett brings more than 30 years of diverse leadership experience across education technology, community engagement, healthcare services, and venture investment. He currently serves as Managing Director of Nelnet Community Engagement (NCE), where he leads multiple innovation‑driven organizations, including CD2 Learning, Catholic Faith Technologies, and Aware3.

As Co‑Founder and CEO of CD2 Learning and Co‑Founder and CEO of My Catholic Faith Delivered, Bartlett has helped pioneer modern cloud‑based learning systems used by enterprises, schools, and faith‑based organizations across the country. His career also includes leadership and investment roles with Lone Peak Capital, Biotech America, Lakeside Capital Group, ATI Nursing Education, Blanchard Certified, and more.

His academic background includes marketing studies at Doane University, Colorado State University, and the University of Nevada–Las Vegas, where he also participated in collegiate athletics.

About John J. Geiger

Geiger joined Silver Lake Bank in 2022 and leads the bank’s branch in Overland Park, serving the Greater Kansas City region. With more than 30 years of commercial banking experience, John previously served as Market President and Chief Credit Officer for two regional financial institutions.

A native Nebraskan and longtime Overland Park resident, Geiger holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. He is known for his hands‑on approach to supporting business growth and for building strong customer relationships centered on local decision‑making, financial expertise, and personalized service.

His areas of specialty include working capital lending, equipment financing, commercial real estate, and residential construction lending.
