MMTH CEO Jake Farrant: Finalist for Entrepreneur Of The Year
Let’s hear it for the leaders, trailblazers, and game changers.
Jake Farrant, CEO of MMTH (pronounced “Mammoth”), has been recognized as a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2026 Heartland Award. The Entrepreneur Of The Year program recognizes ambitious business leaders who are changing the game, disrupting industries, and raising up their communities.
An independent panel of judges selected 28 finalists from the Midwest based on their entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, and lasting impact. Jake joins the ranks of past Midwestern honorees, including Maxine Clark of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Richard Schulze of Best Buy, and Jude Bricker of Sun Country Airlines.
“I’m honored to be named a finalist and grateful for my team at MMTH that makes it all possible,” said Jake. “This recognition reflects their hard work and the impact we make on schools and communities. I’ve always believed that strong leadership is about empowering people. Our team’s success is a direct result of that shared commitment.”
MMTH is a team of sports specialists committed to building sports fields and facilities for K-12 schools, colleges, and communities. The company leads projects from planning and design to construction and operations across the country.
Jake’s impact can be felt on and off the field. Through MMTH, he and his team have brought high-performing fields and facilities to schools of all sizes. Outside of work, he continues to invest in his hometown of Meriden, KS, and through Woolly Farms Foundation, the nonprofit he cofounded to serve adults with diverse needs and abilities.
MMTH is honored that Jake has been recognized as one of this year’s finalists. Regional award winners will be announced on June 18 during a special celebration. Follow our journey at Entrepreneur Of The Year Heartland.
