Omni Circle’s 3rd Annual Fisher Social Returns to Lake Shawnee on July 18

Omni Circle Group, a Topeka-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through social and economic impact, will host its 3rd Annual Fisher Social on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lake Shawnee Junior, located at 3832 SW West Edge Rd, Topeka, KS 66609.

Themed "Where Reel Connections Are Made," this year's Fisher Social continues Omni Circle's tradition of using fishing as a bridge to bring neighbors, families, and generations together. The event is free and open to the public, with youth and adults welcome. Sixty fishing poles will be available on-site for participants who do not have their own equipment.

This year's gathering also honors the legacy of Joseph Fisher Sr., recognizing his lasting contribution to the community spirit the event was built to celebrate.

The Fisher Social is made possible through continued partnership with Shawnee County Parks + Recreation and Kansas Wildlife & Parks, both of which support the event's mission of expanding outdoor recreation access across the Topeka area.
