728 Kansas Avenue Purchased by Local Marketing Executive

After establishing Sprout Communications, LLC nearly three years ago, Caleb will move his business into the heart of downtown. Following renovations, the Sprout team will occupy the second floor of the building, which has been empty for nearly 30 years."After looking at numerous locations throughout Topeka for a permanent home, I can't think of a better, more exciting place to grow my company than on Kansas Avenue." said Caleb. "A vibrant downtown is critical to the health of any thriving community, and I look forward to doing my part to contribute."

Sprout Communications, LLC is a full-service marketing firm that specializes in nurturing partnerships that strengthen brands. Sprout supports clients locally, and as far away as Portland, Oregon to Birmingham, Alabama. Sprout works with organizations of all sizes and marketing needs, developing partnerships with every client to best meet their needs and together grow their brand.

We are also pleased to announce that Cashmere Gourmet Popcorn will be moving into a permanent home in the street level retail space at this location. After the recent success of their pop-up store at 1003 SE Quincy Street, we are thrilled to welcome this local favorite to 728 South Kansas Avenue.

"It's hard to believe that in just a couple of years we've gone from making popcorn in our kitchen for fundraisers to having a retail location downtown," said Bill and Angie Anderson, owners of Cashmere Gourmet Popcorn. "We are truly humbled by, and appreciate, the overwhelming support of the Topeka community as we have grown our business!"

Cashmere participated in the February 5 First Friday Art Walk in their new space, and will continue working on updating the interior and installing signage on the front of the building. They hope to be operating out of the Kansas Avenue location early March.
