Moburts, a local family owned spice and olive oil company will be celebrating their Grand Opening at 820 South Kansas in beautiful downtown Topeka, Kansas on Saturday, November 28th from 9:00 to 6:00. There will be door prizes and refreshments.
Moburts opened for business in the spring of 2012 selling spices, herbs, sea salts, flavored sugars, and homemade blends at Topeka's Downtown Farmers' Market. In the fall of 2013, Moburts opened their brick and mortar store at 732 Gage. Late 2014, moburts expanded into extra virgin olive oils and gourmet vinegars. Moburts is dedicated to sourcing domestic olive oils from small, independent farmers supply the freshest extra virgin olive oils and wine vinegars and Italian balsamic vinegars. In their new location, Moburts will be expanding into new product lines and offering various classes.
Moburts caters to the cooking needs of all types of food enthusiasts - from bakers to BBQers, to everyday cooks and health conscious cooks and everything in between. Moburts goal is to provide the benefits of a wide variety of high quality cooking ingredients. Moburts owners are Topekans, Al and Mary Jo Struttman.
