The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) named Tiffany Beyer of Stormont-Vail HealthCare one of the Top Ten Business Women of the Year

tiffanyThe American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) named Tiffany Beyer, Manager of Medical Education Services at Stormont-Vail HealthCare in Topeka, Kansas, one of the Top Ten Business Women of the Year.  The Top Ten Business Women of ABWA is a national program that honors 10 outstanding members for achieving excellence in career, education and community involvement. Beyer has worked in medical education at Stormont-Vail HealthCare since 2006 coordinating medical education for physicians in northeast Kansas.  She is active in the Topeka community having previously served as a volunteer Parent/Adolescent Mediator for Kansas Children’s Service League, a Mentor for Housing & Credit Counseling, Inc., and a Court Appointed Special Advocate for CASA of Shawnee County.  She was awarded the 2013 CASA Rookie of the year.  Tiffany is a graduate of Baker University with a BBA and MA degrees.

The local ABWA Kansas Executive Express Network (KEEN) nominated Beyer for the Top 10 honor as she completes her 4th term on the Executive Board.  Tiffany has served in several officer positions since 2011 and encouraged several other women to join the ABWA organization.  Tiffany was selected as the KEEN Woman of the Year in 2014.

“Top Ten candidates are a paradigm for ABWA members who strive for excellence in their careers, their communities, and in the Association,” says René Street, ABWA Executive Director. “It is a privilege to recognize these outstanding women this year at the National Women’s Leadership Conference and to gain inspiration from their accomplishments.”  In Albuquerque, at the ABWA National Leadership Conference, the Top 10 candidates will be interviewed and asked to present a three minute speech on their accomplishments; thereafter a committee will select the American Business Woman of the Year for 2016.

When asked about the Top 10 selection, Tiffany stated, “I am overwhelmed and humbled to represent my KEEN network as a Top 10 Candidate.  This is a very big honor and I am looking forward to sharing my story in October in Albuquerque!  ABWA has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I am excited about being a national representative for the organization.  I am grateful to all my ABWA friends and supporters for this wonderful honor!”
