The Topeka Community Foundation announced today that with $73,500.00 in match money – this year’s event raised $496,288.92 to benefit 157 nonprofit organizations. This brings the four-year total of Topeka Gives events to $1,428,638.31.
“These results speak volumes about our community… and how deeply people care about the great work of our wonderful nonprofit organizations in Shawnee County,” said Topeka Community Foundation President Marsha Pope.
The top three organizations receiving gifts from the highest number of donors are:
Helping Hands Humane Society 76 donors Doorstep 87 donors Topeka Rescue Mission 114 donors

Topeka Symphony $17,492.14
Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy $22,354.68
Topeka Rescue Mission $24,110.59
