To prepare voters for the primary election, the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce, Fast Forward, the League of Women Voters of Topeka and Shawnee County and a number of other local organizations are hosting forums that will enable voters to meet the candidates and hear their points of views. On Friday, July 22, Fast Forward, the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters are hosting a Meet the Candidates event from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Ave.
Candidates for County Commission, sheriff and district attorney will be invited and each attendee will have a table set up for him or her.
