Topeka’s newest microbrewery will open their doors for the first time this Friday, July 22 at 4:00 PM. Happy Basset Brewing Company is located at 6044 SW 29th St in Topeka. As a “thank you” to Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant for their support, the Brewmaster, John Dean and owner Jay Ives, will be given the opportunity to make the first beer purchases at Happy Basset on Friday at 3:30PM.
Happy Basset Brewing Company owner, Eric Craver explains the decision to sell the first beer to Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant: “Following my dream to open a brewery has been a long road and we have had so much support from our family, friends and the entire community. With all the support we’ve received, John has shown me what the craft beer industry is all about through his collaboration and support. We are honored for Blind Tiger to be our first customers!”
Happy Basset Brewing Company will be serving our very own Hoppy Basset IPA along with a Robust Porter and two variations of our first ever Cream Ale along with a variety of cocktails. The taproom does not have a kitchen so feel free to bring in your favorite foods or order food to be delivered.
Happy Basset will be open Wed-Thur. 4-10 PM; Fridays 4-midnight; Saturdays 1 PM-midnight; and Sunday’s noon-8 PM.
