Roger Underwood, Senior Vice President of Community Bank was recently appointed new Vice Chair of Heartland Visioning Management Committee. The Management Committee serves as the executive board of Heartland Visioning. During Underwood’s first year on the committee he saw firsthand the accomplishments of the various collaborations of public/private partnerships facilitated by Heartland Visioning. He looks forward to working with the Management and Steering Committee to improve the quality of life in Topeka and Shawnee County.
“We need to capitalize on all the positive things that are going on in our community and continue to reach out to our citizens for input as a part of the visioning process.” Underwood said. Management Committee members include:

The Heartland Visioning Management Committee is involved in the strategic planning process, oversight of the organizational operations, establishing priorities and putting a focus on “what’s next” for Visioning and the community.
