Envista Cares Challenge Highlights YWCA Northeast Kansas in November
Envista Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will highlight YWCA Northeast Kansas through the Envista Cares Challenge during the month of November. All month, Envista will provide YWCA Northeast Kansas with a media package that includes emails, social media, radio and billboards. In addition, Envista is challenging the community to give to YWCA Northeast Kansas. For every dollar given to the organization during the month of November, Envista will match up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com.
“We are so grateful for the EnvistaCares challenge, because our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women is bold, but our future is bright when our community comes together. Every day, we turn on our lights and open our doors to answer the cry for justice. Here, a woman discovers her own power to leave an abusive relationship. Here, students of color learn to navigate the systems designed to hold them back. Here, a young woman cracks the glass ceiling to achieve the promotion she earned,” said Kathleen Marker, CEO of YWCA Northeast Kansas. “Thank you, Envista Credit Union, for getting up and doing the work of eliminating racism and empowering women with us. Together, we can make sure that the world sees women, girls, and people of color the way we do: Equal. Powerful. Unstoppable.”
“Our goal at Envista is to lead, inspire and make an impact with our giving,” said Tara Dimick, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Envista. “The YWCA Northeast Kansas is an incredible example of an organization that leads, inspires and makes an everlasting impact on our community. We are honored to support them, and encourage our community to give to help eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.”
