Envista Commits 288 Hours of Staff Time to Volunteering in One Week
Envista Credit Union is celebrating National Volunteer Week, April 8-12, by providing a half-day of volunteer time to every employee to use to help five local non-profit organizations. Collectively, Envista employees are volunteering 288.5 hours of time, an approximate contribution of $5,684.32.
“Envista cares about honoring the individual and finding a way to help,” said Tara Dimick, senior vice president of business development. “During National Volunteer Week, the staff will get the opportunity to show our members and the community our appreciation and support.”
Team Envista will be painting paper mache eggs for the animals’ Easter Eggstravaganza event at the Topeka Zoo, lending a hand to beautify the landscape at the Topeka Civic Theatre, cooking meals for Ronald McDonald House families, enjoying snack-time with the kids of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka and will participate in ‘Take your CAN to work week,’ a food drive supporting Harvesters.
