Envista Cares Challenge Highlights the Friends of the Topeka Zoo

Envista Cares Challenge Highlights the Friends of the Topeka Zoo

For every dollar given to the organization during the month, Envista will match up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com.

“It is our goal to highlight organizations doing great work in our community, while encouraging our community to give,” said Tara Dimick, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Envista. “Our simple statement at Envista is: ‘Lead. Inspire. Impact.’ We know that individually we can do great things, but together we make the impact that our community needs to continue to be a place our members and our staff want to live, work and play.”

Envista is a proud supporter of the Topeka Zoo and all that they provide to the community. We have deepened that partnership with Friends of the Topeka Zoo by showcasing them and making a challenge gift of $2500 through the Envista Cares Challenge.

“The Topeka Zoo strives to make impact within our community by connecting people to nature. The core of our mission is to promote wildlife conservation and education. We do this by adding new and engaging experiences through innovative exhibits, special events, and educational programming, all within a safe and fun atmosphere,” said Jared Bednar, Executive Director of the Friends of Topeka Zoo. “As Envista Credit Union shares our passion of supporting the Topeka Zoo, Friends of Topeka Zoo is thrilled to be selected as part of the EnvistaCares Challenge. Contributions from this challenge will enable us to empower even more visitors to become conservation advocates and create greater impact in their own lives.”

Envista Credit Union is a full service financial institution established in 1957 to provide members quality products and services to achieve their financial goals. Envista currently has $388 million in assets and serves more than 42,000 Kansans with offices in Topeka, Lawrence and Hutchinson. For more information visit www.envistacu.com.

Nestled in Gage Park, the Topeka Zoological Park was founded in 1933. It was renamed in 2016 to the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center to better reflect their endeavors. Proudly accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Topeka Zoo strives to enrich the community through wildlife conservation and education. For more information visit www.topekazoo.org.
