Blind Tiger Brewery Announces Three Beautiful New Beers

The Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant announces three beautiful new Craft Beers ready and on tap as of Tuesday January 21 at the brewery at 37th and Kansas. John Dean, Brewmaster, and his team have been busy creating new fabulous tasting beers for a thirsty city.  The following join about 20 other Blind Tiger Beers on tap at the brewery.

Café Mocha    6.5% ABV,    11 IBUs,    Contains Lactose
A golden colored beer with all the attributes of a Café Mocha!  To craft this brew we started with cacao, Tahitian vanilla beans from Topeka's Moburt's Spice Shop, and milk sugar for a sweet body.  Then we roasted up some fresh coffee beans from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.  A beer to be savored.  “Would you like some whipped cream with that?”

Passion Fruit Sour    6.5% ABV,    4 IBUs,   
A kettle-soured beer with Passion Fruit puree.  Our series of sour beers have been gaining popularity over the last couple of years.  This latest entrant in the series is particularly smooth.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout    10% ABV,    26 IBUs
She was a black charred beauty with big dark staves, and bands all her own hugging way up high, way up firm and high.  I knew this Makers Mark Bourbon Whiskey barrel needed filled.  It would take a full year workin’ on mysteries without any clues.  Workin’ on some infusion.  I awoke last night to the sound of thunder, is it ready I sat and wondered?  You be the judge.

People often ask, "How long will these beers be on tap?"  The answer is - beer is made in batches and each of these beers is a single one-off batch.  They will last until Topeka drinks them up!
