Home of Dirty Girl Adventures expands outdoor gear selection and hosts Beer & Gear event

Compass Point invites the public to its Beer and Gear shopping event Nov. 6-7 at 800 N. Kansas Ave., in the North Topeka Arts District. The event will showcase new retail goods including a variety of popular outdoor gear brands and Kansas inspired gifts. The shop will be open at 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. on both days. 

Top Brew Tours will be at the event with brewery tour signups and a chance to win merchandise from local Topeka breweries.  

Compass Point will provide beer samples from local breweries while supplies last. Apple cider and snacks will be available for shoppers on both days. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to schedule free private outfitting appointments to discuss the right gear based on skill level for a variety of outdoor adventures. 

“We are excited to serve the Topeka community with our specialty outdoor gear shop and hope you’ll come check it out to enjoy beer and a weekend of shopping local,” says owner, Denise Selbee-Koch.

All COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines from the CDC and the Shawnee County Health Department will be followed.
