Conference to Encourage Attendees to Innovate. Include. Inspire.
Registration for the Kansas Chamber's 2020 Kansas Women In Business Conference (WIB) is quickly filling up. The WIB is Thursday, November 17th at the Topeka Country Club in Topeka, Kansas. The conference offers both in-person and virtual registration options for attendees.
"Given all that is happening in our country and in business this year, the WIB will explore how Kansas women in business can meet today's challenges and constant change with success," said Kansas Chamber's President and CEO Alan Cobb. "More than ever, it is important for business leaders from across the state to connect, share their experiences and learn how they can become better innovators, inclusive and inspiring."
Cobb said the WIB conference is for entrepreneurial and business-minded women in Kansas and those who support them.
The theme for this year's conference is Innovate. Include. Inspire. Challenge Excepted.
Business advisor Tamara Ghandour will lead the Innovate Session with a discussion about how attendees unlock their innovative minds to achieve peak performance, stand out and build their competitive edge.
With more people than ever working from home with virtual meetings replacing face to face meetings, author and marketing expert Kelly McDonald will explore how attendees can rock their next virtual meeting.
During the Include Session, Dr. Andrea Hendricks, author and respected diversity and inclusion expert, will take attendees on a journey to learn about their own biases and how to build capacity around diversity and inclusion engagement efforts.
The conference concludes with the Inspire Workshop, lead by Holly Hoffman, author and contestant of the reality TV show "Survivor Nicaragua". She will discuss how attendees' true survival skills to help them overcome adversity.
Both in-person and virtual attendees also will enjoy networking opportunities throughout the day to ensure they leave with new business contacts.
